Digital risk protection
BrandProtection
Defending your name, your logo and your customers from the people using them.
BrandProtection patrols the open web, social platforms and marketplaces for misuse of your identity — counterfeit listings, cloned storefronts, impersonation accounts, coordinated disinformation — and pursues removal. Available to legal entities and to individuals.
- Built and operated by FANUM
- For companies and for individuals
- Overview
- Brands whose customers are being targeted by impersonation, and public figures managing reputational risk.
The problem
Brand abuse is usually discovered by a customer, not by the company. Someone calls to complain about a product they never bought from you, or about a payment made on a site that looked exactly like yours. By then the counterfeit listing has been live for weeks, the cloned storefront has taken real money, and the impersonation account has an audience. Manual searching does not scale past a handful of platforms, and takedown requests filed one at a time move slowly.
Capabilities
Counterfeit and fraud prevention
Detects fake goods sold under your name, hijacked sales channels and cloned storefronts, then pursues takedown with the platforms hosting them.
Reputation monitoring
Watches for fabricated news, coordinated disinformation and organised rumour campaigns aimed at damaging public standing — early warning rather than post-mortem.
Proactive IP defence
Continuous monitoring of trademarks, logos and proprietary assets across digital platforms, so infringement is caught while it is still small enough to stop.
What makes it different
Unlike monitoring that alerts you to a problem and stops there, BrandProtection pursues removal with the platforms hosting the abuse. Detection without takedown is only a more detailed way of watching your brand be misused.
